Some records are planned from the beginning. Others take on a life of their own.

Lessons & Blessings – DJ Droops Club Remix definitely falls into the second category. 🙏🏽🎶

It all started at the Lessons & Blessings video release party at Rachel’s West Palm Beach. The cast and crew came together to celebrate the music video, the work that went into it, and everybody who helped bring the vision to life.

Then, about an hour into the night, something happened that I wasn’t expecting at all.

DJ Droops dropped a remix of Lessons & Blessings in the club. 🔥

I had no idea he had even made one.

The second I heard it playing through the club system, I knew it was different. He took the original record and gave it a whole new bounce — more movement, more energy, and a version built to make people dance. 🪩💃🏽

It still felt like Lessons & Blessings. It just had a completely different life to it.

I asked Droops if he would be cool with us officially releasing it.

He said yes.

And just like that, something that started as a surprise at a video release party became the next chapter of the record. 🙌🏽

🔴 September 1st — Full Circle

There was only one release date that really made sense.

September 1st, 2026.

Exactly one year after the original Lessons & Blessings was released.

That means a lot to me because this isn't just another remix. It represents what can happen when you put something into the world and allow it to keep growing.

One song. Another interpretation. Another moment.

Another lesson. Another blessing. ❤️

More than anything, this release is about gratitude.

Thank you to DJ Droops for taking the record, putting his own energy into it, and surprising me with something I never expected.

Thank you to everybody who worked on the original song and video.

Thank you to the cast, crew, photographers, videographers, models, makeup artists, DJs, clubs, friends, supporters, and everybody who has played a part in this journey.

A year later, we're still finding new ways to celebrate this record.
