First, I want to thank everybody who has been following this journey and supporting the music I’ve been putting out. Whether you’ve streamed a record, watched a video, shared a post, pulled up to see me DJ, sent me a message, or simply told somebody else about the music—I appreciate you.
Every release has been another chapter.
“Music Gave Me Wings” is about looking back at everything you’ve been through and realizing it didn’t stop you—it helped shape you.
“I done walked through hellStill ain’t never lost myselfLost a couple friendsBut I found myself instead."
That really captures the heart of this record.
There are wins in this song, but there’s also pain, sacrifice, growth and perspective. It’s about reaching a point where you can look around, appreciate how far you’ve come and understand that even the difficult parts of the journey had a purpose.
For me, music has been there through all of it.
That’s why the title became Music Gave Me Wings.
And the music is only one part of what’s coming.I’ve also been working on the apparel side of DJ Fluff, building designs and developing pieces that represent the same ideas behind the music—growth, perseverance, individuality and turning your experiences into something you can be proud of.
There are some big things developing there, and you’ll be seeing much more soon. 🪽
